THE PERSON WE BUILT THIS FOR

Every family trip has one person carrying it.

They know which confirmation is current, where everyone is meeting, and when the family actually has to leave. Everyone else gets the trip. They get the responsibility.

Welltrod gives that person their trip back.
Which confirmation is current?
Where exactly do we meet?
Did the closure change our route?
When do we really have to leave?

HOW IT WORKS

How Welltrod handles a day of your trip

Tuesday, July 14. Paris. Four travelers, one timed entry, one dinner to confirm — here’s how Welltrod keeps the whole day on track, from first coffee to the last métro.

CHAPTER ONE · 7:04 AM

The day, already briefed.

Before you ask, Welltrod reviews the trip and the day’s conditions—overnight changes, weather, closures, confirmations—and briefs you once, with sources and anything that still needs a human decision.

CHAPTER TWO · 9:38 AM

Know when to leave. Know why.

Welltrod works backward from the commitment you cannot miss, calculates the journey—walk, wait, ride, buffer—and tells you when to move. Every figure shows when it was checked and whether it is live, predicted, scheduled, cached, or stale.

CHAPTER THREE · 10:26 AM

Change the plan without losing the day.

Breakfast runs long. Welltrod already knows what the delay costs: it checks the timed entry, protects the next plan, adjusts only what has to change — and gives everyone the new plan.

RESCUEDYour 11:00 Louvre entry — the gate lets you in until 11:15
SWAPPEDMétro plan for a taxi if you leave after 10:40
KEPTThe rest of the afternoon, untouched
Can the kids still make the Louvre if breakfast runs long?
Yes — the Louvre still lets you in until 11:15 with your 11:00 tickets. Leaving by 10:40 keeps the Métro plan; after that I’d switch you to a taxi (14 min, ~€14).
IF YOU WANT IT
I can move the Orsay walk 30 minutes later and tell everyone — dinner stays at 7:45.

WHY WE BUILT IT

You took this trip to be with your family — not to spend it looking things up.

Welltrod handles the times, the routes, and the changes. You make the decisions and enjoy the day.

FOUNDING RESEARCH

Built from a real trip, not a planning demo.

We documented every travel question one family actually needed answered across eight days in London and Paris. Sixty-five of 74 arose after the trip had already begun — and none was “plan me a trip.” Welltrod is built for those questions: the ones that come up once you’re there and make or break the day.

65/74
questions asked mid-trip, not before it
  1. A closure before it became a scramble. A road race changed the route to a timed reservation. The day needed a new leave-by time, not another list of attractions.
  2. The meeting point, not just the address. “Outside the station” is not enough. The useful answer is the entrance, the landmark, the sign, and the time to regroup.
  3. A plan that can bend. When the family was exhausted, the right answer was to replace lunch without breaking the rest of the day.

The rest of the trip, covered.
